Shot by Alexander Kodisch, the above video is made up of 11,000 images rendered together and takes us through the sunrises, beaches, jungles, waterfalls and rainbows of Mauritius — also known as the most beautiful island in the Indian Ocean, according to us.
Twelve hundred miles off the coast of southeast Africa, Mauritius is home to about 1.2 million people and has been called the “model of true democracy for every African country” by CNN.
It’s like the Hawaii of Africa, we’ve decided, and we now have a new destination to dream about.
